Getting ready to feed the cats, then will make spaghetti for us. I'm trying not to feel too depressed--even though it is my usual depression day--Sunday--a.k.a. "the day before back to work."
It is only going to be a 4 day week for me eventhough I should be working Friday. I am taking a week off to go on vacation, and so, the thought of a vacation does lift my spirits some. As soon as I'm done feeding the cats, I can work on some packing. We want to pack all week so we don't have to kill ourselves Thursday when we get home. If I had a lot of leave, I'd take Thursday off.
Just came back from doing a little gardening and picked one bean and about 3 pea pods. There is a cucumber almost ready to pick and a few jalapeno peppers that are going to be ready soon. The tomatoes are starting to appear--all in all looking good.
Bob bought some annuals for me to plant in a couple of pots around the deck and patio. I had planted seeds there, but they weren't doing too well, so I planted something else. I love looking out and seeing the bright colors. It makes me happy.
